Stunning coastal wetlands bordered by the River Rother and sea. Hides for bird watching. Resident and migrant birds. Several trails between the ponds. The main path is hard and suitable for those with accessibility needs. Public toilets are located just before the car park.

Beautiful location, with lots to see, great bird hide, excellent for walking the dog and getting some fresh sea air. Great Cafe and pub nearby. Free car parking and great birdlife. New experience centre being built.
Rye Harbour is always a nice place to visit if you have nice weather. Plenty of water areas with various species of birds to be seen. It's a nice walk around there too. You also have the platform further back down the Harbour Road near the Industrial Units that looks over the reedbeds. Then at the inland end you can walk across the fields to Castle Water and see Camber Castle close up.
Great views. There's pebble beach there and you can enjoy a walk or bike ride round the nature trail. Loved it.
A great place for a long walk in natural unspoilt surroundings. We did a full circular walk from Rye, down to the beach, along the front and back up through the fields past Camber Castle. There are a few paths to take around the reserve and varied landscapes to see, with lots of bird species which may be observed via the purpose built hides.
