While weddings often see a focus on the bride, Top Ryde Tailors are an excellent choice for a gentlemen who would like to ensure he is a suitably splendid partner for his wife on the big day. I first got in touch with Frank a few months ahead of my big day. I wanted to wear white tie, and rather than order something that really didn't fit, I decided to do it properly, which meant I needed a tailor. Frank proved to be very interested in the project - a three piece white tie suit, including a white waistcoat, high waisted black trousers (which I will in future always wear with braces - top tip), and a tailcoat. It was a project that Frank got excited about, as did I (being very impressed by the elegant appearance of Fred Astaire, who provided much of the inspiration for the outfit). Far and away the most challenging part of the outfit was the waistcoat, as I was very specific in the requirement that the waistcoat not appear underneath the front of the tailcoat. We could not believe how high it wound up going. In the end, the result was an excellent suit that was exactly what I wanted, and is something that I am sure will last me many years and many great nights of entertainment. Frank was a pleasure to work with, and the other gentlemen out the back of the shop held much interest as well. Truly, for these tailors, no job is too great or small. I highly recommend them for your consideration, both to support local businesses, and more importantly, to help support such craftsmen as Frank, who was fantastic in creating my wonderful wedding suit. Just purchased a mask from the the tailors . I went in to have a dress repaired and was able to pick up a mask in my favourite colour . Thanks Frank , as I have been looking everywhere for a good quality mask !!
