a gorgeous place to spend the evening! my family and I had carvery and the range if choice is outstanding! glazed gammon, turkey, roast beef, sausages, and then amazing Yorkshire puddings, potatoes, mash, fries, peas, green beans, stuffing (my favourite) cabbage, baked beans, mushy peas, different choice of gravy, curry sauce, cranberry, sauces... all absolutely exceptional! we were very pleased with the price as well! just over 30 quid for 2 large and 2 normal size carveries with 3 drinks! couldn't have asked for better!!

In such trying times, it was lovely to see the guys working as a complete team with no moaning at all - the chefs were even delivering food to the table and smiling all the while!. The food was lovely. Clearly staff were busy but despite the wait, which was longer than normal, you could sit and chill, in a lovely atmosphere and every request was dealt with without fuss. I commend everyone for staying so calm and unfazed. I'd go back again even if I have to wait a while, it is all worth it.
You have to book in advance for a table. Friendly, helpful staff, nice food and good value for money. Nice venue situated on Wooton Creek. Would recommend.
Tried the Take Away service and was very good. My boyfriend went in to collect as was done under his name and he said the chef who gave him the food went through each item with him to make sure he had everything. Food was still piping hot when we returned to our cottage and was well packaged. Huge portions and good food. Would definitely come again. Only slight mark down was missing ice cream with the Chocolate Fudge Cake.
Lovely meal today, with such great attention to detail and friendly service from both Katie and Charlotte. They also have in place a full COVID system and well managed. This site is a credit to the Stonegate family and Donna the manger leads a great example and is a huge asset to the company. Well done to all. Thank you all for looking after us and my frail dad. A fantastic venue to go to for food and drinks for a nice price. The lunch we had was worth 5 stars and if only the sausages and bacon were better for breakfast, I'd rate this place with a 5/5. Nice menu, very friendly staff, spacious and well worth a visit if you enjoy a Toby carvery or harvester type of place
Had the festive menu, excellent value but with a 50% voucher even better. Good choice and 3 courses, service quick and friendly, can't wait to return.
