i am a regular to this particular fish and chips and have noticed a considerable decline in quality over the last 6 months or so, in the good old days terry's offered overflowing portion sizes and only the freshest best tasting chips that ever blessed the isle of Wight, I'm sad to say these days of delicious chips are over and instead replaced with chewy pieces of nans toenails , as cold as her corpse (god rest her soul)i ordered a regular cheesy chips with a burger and was hoping for something memorable and satisfying . it was memorable but in a sour fashion, for starters the cheese was non existent, only covering a centre circle as if someone had spreaded human seed into the centre of the box almost like a bullseye in target practice, and to make this situation any worse the cheese had dried into cement , i had to invest in plyers to drag each chip out of its tarmac prison some would call cheese , the burger was cold and did not aid my misfortune , its a shame, portion sizes are a joke , the whole place is a joke and needs sorting out. signed karen.

The guy on Check In at Nodes Point said Terry's \was the best on the island\. Fish was tasty,sausage was very meaty and the chips were pretty good.

Ordered through Go Eats, took ages to get here. All food stone cold, popcorn chicken over cooked to the point of burnt. Chicken burger over cooked, lettuce not fresh to the point of going off. Chips over cooked to the point of no potato left in them. Will not be ordering again. Disappointed as I've heard great things!

We stopped off at Terry's to get our tea tonight and we are so glad we did! Not only was all the food absolutely delicious but the staff were really friendly too. There was a moment of excitement as an order in the heater caught alight but they dealt with it like pros and gave us a surprise refund which was really lovely but unnecessary - we will pass the good deed on! Would 100% recommend Terry's as the best chippy I've been to in ages.

Good quality and fresh! Veggies, vegans I wouldn't bother. Chips and all battered foods are cooked in same fryer. No gluten free options.
