I note that most of the reviews are [on average] at least 1 year old which might account for the glowing views. And maybe they were excellent pies a year ago. But the pie I had today was barely edible. The crust was anemic to say the least. No amount of smiley faces could make up for the weak excuse of what I think was meant to be shortcrust pastry. Supermarket frozen pastry is far superior. And then the filling, actually fell far below the substandard bar set by the pastry. It was a lackluster tan color, more befitting a Korma curry than a chunky steak pie? It was runny with overtones of chicken stock with the steak imitating mince that had been stewed beyond its accepted culinary limits. At least I know why the pie comes in a tin foil tray, to catch the contents of the anemic pastry. And only 5.75. That is definitely my last pie face pie. Anyone that endorses these pies needs to get out more.

2.3 - Pie wasn't nice at all. However, the lady did offer to heat it up for me and it did have a crisp to it, as opposed to microwaved Supermarket pies so there's that! The potato didn't taste like Mashed Potato on top of my Shepherd's pie like it's meant to, and the Mince insides didn't taste fresh. I know I went at the end of the day, but I would still expect some sort of quality. Pity - I thought that Pie Face was meant to indicate certain standards! 5.90 and extra 20 cents for sauce!
Went to this shop asked for 2 mini steak pies and paid 8.00 (afternoon special) i told gentleman it should be 6.00. he said sorry mini steak pies are sold out. No attempt to give my money back or any replacement product. I didnt even got a refund. Be careful they will rob you here. Get your food first than pay.

The best pies in the area! The staff are always friendly. I usually have a Wagyu Beef Pie, there are lots of other options.
Service is always good and staff are friendly :) Food is great of course! but they often get my drink order wrong though (asking for coffee and getting tea instead)
