I mean, the end result looks good. But I don't know if it was worth the painful experience. They buff so roughly and dig in so deep when trimming the cuticles. It wasn't just one person, I've gone 3 times and it's always the case.

Went to have SNS removed, and instead of soaking it in acetone, they ripped the SNS off my natural nail using a cuticle cutter. When it wouldn't come off this way, they twisted the nail (using the cuticle cutter as a pair of pliers) and ripped my natural nail off. My fingers were left very sore, and damaged. I would not recommend coming here if you care about your nail health.
I went there for first time for getting SNS , but they did not ask what I need. Not everyone who comes in for SNS are those who gets it done regularly. I had very very short nails and the lady started doing it right away without extensions. I even don’t have purpose of doing with with such a short nails. She also buff it hard and i was in pain all thoroughout. She was laughing at times when I said it’s paining and the charges are crazy high.
Got some awesome flame nail art, looks amazing, staff were professional, helpful and extremely nice, would definitely go again.
I have been to this nail salon many times with mixed results and I never really knew what I was going to get but ever since i started asking for Michelle specifically, I am blown away every single time. She really does an excellent job with acrylics and SNS and even colour suggestions for nail art. Last time for example i picked a colour that was going to be too runny for the look i wanted and she instantly knew and went and grabbed another identical colour in a different brand that was a thicker consistency so I could still have what I wanted and the finished result was so pretty. She really knows her stuff and I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Asked for a pedicure and shellac. The water was cold and had to ask them to put more warm water in it. They didn’t use the exfoliating scrub, I had to ask them to use it and the massage was completely disappointing and non existent. I’m normally happy to pay an extra 20 for the pedicure, but definitely won’t be returning here and will be taking my business else where.
I paid for a pedicure and walked away with an infection. The lady who performed the service gave no regard to my comfort or well being as demonstrated by her complete disregard to general health and safety. Whilst removing my shellac, she filed and cut the skin on 2 of my toes and then while she was removing, or should I say hacking into my cuticles, she hacked into one of my toes so badly that 3 days later, my skin is still raw and has now become infected due to the severity and depth of her cut. I had asked her 3 times to please be careful but she simply did not care. I have had to apply medical antiseptic cream and will potentially have to receive prescription medication if the infection does not ease in the next few days. I wish I had never visited this salon and if I could give 0 stars, I would.
Always recommend neonails top Ryde to all my friends..friendly professional service I find them to be the cleanest salon good hygiene and covid safe precautions taken...my nails look amazing every time! And they last!
