This place is an absolute gem! We had a traditional gilaki (northern Iran) dinner here last week and we loved it! The food was fantastic, specially the fish, it was mind blowing. The guys are very friendly and welcoming and it’s got a lovely artistic atmosphere. I highly recommend cuppa cafe!

Gilaneh is Persian restaurant with the taste of the northern province Gilan in Iran. You also have the option of Vegans or Vegterian too which is great. Taste of food that I tried was delicious and enjoyed. The way they are serving is unique I haven't seen on any other Persian restaurant in Sydney.
Foods are so delicious and well-cooked. They are so fresh and we enjoy a lot and having a great night in there. Staff are really friendly and I highly recommend this place Everytime I go to Cuppa Cafe, I have problem in choosing which food I want, because all of them are amazing
Very nice burgers like you can literally taste the Persian flavors. It’s nothing like other burger shop. Gilaneh has stayed true to its root and tries to blend Iranian flavor using unique ingredients like the berry relish, saffron, sumac which we don’t see in ordinary burgers. Really liked the beef burger I had. My friend had a saffron fried chicken burger, the chicken was juicy and crispy. Above all the ingredients seem very fresh and made with lots of love. Ali (manager I guess) he was really friendly and had great sense of humor. I would definitely recommend this place. I’m going again this weekend
Thoroughly enjoy eating here with the colourful and cosy atmosphere and lovely authentic Persian food. Plenty of vegetarian options. Loved the Buddha bowl. Very generous serving size too!
Nicely designed and decorated, light Persian music playing on the background, most items in the menu is only offered in this restaurant across Sydney which are cuisines from Northern Province of Gilan in Iran. All meals were superbly presented and tasted great. I would have liked the trout and soar kebab meat to have been marinated a bit more with the tasty sauce that is to die for. Definitely recommend it.
Great food, super friendly staff and an artistically designed tranquilizing cozy environment. Keep up the good work guys . To all my Persian friends who missed the lovely taste of northern Iran's cuisine; I absolutely recommend to pay them a visit. You won't regret it
A great modern day cafe with few but well-selected touches of authentic Persian cuisine. Owners are super nice & friendly and the food is delicious.
