A medium sized store with all the usual bits and pieces you'd find in a chemist, I usually go in for medical stuff and advice as I find the staff very helpful.
It's a efficient store I just think staff could have a lighter approach as the pharmacy section can be quite stern noticed customers including myself will be nice and polite but non responsive found a lot of cold and seem down trotten. They usually only have one pharmacist on for such a big client base it really should have more from 13.00 to 14.00 you can't purchase anything from the counter as the pharmasist is on lunch obviously that is not the issue they need a break but it would be nice for a store in there position which is a very busy chemist all during there hours of opening to have a trainee pharmacist or another pharmacist, one is ridiculous for the size of the store.
Clean, well presented with friendly helpful staff. My only issue is with the pharmacy's queue system. Signs indicate that one end of the pharmacy is for express pick up of prescriptions, the other end for handing in prescriptions to be prepared while you wait. As a collector of repeat prescriptions I obviously choose the express pick up end but find time and time again it doesn't seem to matter which end you choose or who was in line first - its basically a free-for-all random selection - very confusing. Other than this, no complaints
Pharmacy manager (short grey hair) is very rude, rolled her eyes at me when I politely said I couldn’t hear what she was saying to me. I was told that she could not help and to phone 111. I phoned 111, they said to phone GP. The GP said that the pharmacist gave me wrong information and that they should have administered the medication to me! There is one lady at the boots ryde pharmacy that is super nice (short brown hair - tall) I wish I could give her a separate star rating as she is lovely.
