According to the reviews it’s a great place.. I don’t know what did happen but yesterday they keep rushing us by saying “are you done”, “do you want check already”.. And in the beginning the lady asked if we need more time to think about the menu and right away started pushing us to do order.. What’s wrong with you people? Will never go there again. P/S to the owner response: there were only 3 tables busy and no one was walking. So it was not because you were busy at all.

Came to The Risotto House with my friends who live in town. Normally we go to Paisanos which is up the block but it was closed (Sunday). I'm so glad that it was and we found this gem!! we did outdoor dining due to COVID and the service and food was so great and it's BYOB. The Seafood Salad and the Fried Calamari were fantastic appetizers. For my entree I shared the Chicken Milanese special with spinach in VODKA SAUCE!!!!! my husband got the lamb shank that was so tender and flavorful and my one friend got the five cheese risotto which was awesome!!! Everything was not too pricey and very tasty. Thank you Risotto House for the wonderful experience.
They over charged my card and also charge an additional 4% to even use a CC. Even with the 4% addition to the cc charge when my CC charge came in I saw they charged me an additional 6 and change. FRAUD!! The bill should have been 72... they want the tip on the charge after tax AND their additional 4% charge.. on top of that the service was VERY slow and when I asked about the 4% charge I was told that it was hard coded and the workers would check with the owner. I was never given any more info just charged the 4% service charge. Bottom line I authorized 90 and was charged 96 and change.. this is fraud
Cute quaint local Italian restaurant. Perfect for a date. Food is simple and good, not pretentious and full of garnish. Staff is attentive. Dry town, bring your own bottle
Wow ! I had a craving for risotto & I was about to make it on my own. Good thing I found this GEM in Rutherford. Orders for the evening as followed ... crab cakes in mustard sauce & the Rutherford salad ( delicious fresh ingredients including goat cheese & apples ). My entree was the chicken, asparagus risotto & my boyfriend entree seafood risotto. As soon as we arrived we were promptly served with warm bread & butter. BYOB. Wine was corked and poured by the wonderful server we had. Great & calming environment. Definitely a place to go to when in town! Rutherford such a quaint strip to enjoy ! Wonderful, clean restaurant !
