This establishment is situated outside Sunderland, close to the Nissan plant and Air/Transport museum. It has its own large car park and appears to be a former pub or working men's club. It has a bar at the front and a restaurant dining room to the rear. Positives. The place looks nice, inside and out. It has a pleasant ambience. The floor is carpeted and accoustics are good. So you don't have to shout when conversing with your companions. The background music is soothing and at sensible volume. Service was excellent and the food was pretty good. We ordered a pasta dish, a pizza and salad - and it was all fine, albeit nothing special. It was fairly quiet when we were there (a late Saturday afternoon) but I guess it does get busier. Very reasonably priced. Good place for an intimate dinner.
