Recently moved back to Croydon and ordered a takeaway from here after moving boxes into my new flat all day (found this place randomly on UberEats). So happy I did! It was truly glorious. Everything was so delicious and fragrant. Poppadums were crisp and not at all oily. The pathia, dhansak and sabzi malai were amazing. I have since ordered from here a few more times and will continue to do so!
ZERO STARS FOR THESE GUYS..sadly. I was a regular until last night when there was an issue with my order. It was ordered as delivery...but then showed up as a collection. I was on the phone to the US at the time, so I could not go to the restaurant. I phoned the restaurant and the guy who answered was really angry. I stayed polite until he used the F word!!! & told me to shut up & that I talk too much...then put the phone down on me lol Obviously I didn't go & collect the order...don't want food cooked in that energy. So will never use the restaurant again. When I spoke to deliveroo they didn't want to refund my money ether. When I informed them papers would be filed at the local court house in the morning....not for the 11 but to make their lives difficult they refunded me!! Seems Deliveroo are not to fussy about customer satisfaction or whom they work with. As for Rupali Ruchi...if you want good wholesome food that will satisfy just your body...go ahead but food is SO much more than that. I would have expected guys from their cultural program to understand this....
