I caught the 0527 up from Euston and so I arrived at 0745. Station was deserted, which was a good thing in a pandemic. Signs on the lifts limiting occupancy to 1 person at a time. Felt safe and everything looked clean.

I'm going to review the features and services within this station and then give my overall review. Starting with: Platforms - There are 2 platforms in this station. Seating areas are available within both platforms and there are vending machines on both platforms. Services/Stores - There are a number of services available within this station such as a coffee shop, photo booth, lounge area, toilets, car park, taxi rank and a 1st class customer lounge. Customer service - The members of staff within this station are friendly, easy going and helpful. Hygiene - This station is well kept as it's always clean and tidy. I didn't get to use the toilets, so I can't comment on them. But everything else was in good condition. Arrival/Departure Boards - There are a handful of arrival/depature boards. They're all easy to read and in good condition too. Size - This station is quite small, which isn't surprising considering it only has 2 platforms. But it's still nice all the same. Seating Areas - The main seating areas are within the station and the customer lounges. The amount of seats is good considering the stations size and that there generally always a handful of seats available. Summary - Overall, I really like this station. Its nice, warm, inviting, has a good vibe to it and is well staffed and clean.
Trains stop here!
It's a train station trains come, trains go. The 1 downside which really knocks stars off is the lack of taxis at the taxi rank outside the station, and also a lack of public transport or signs directing people to the nearest public transport or even the town centre.
Kylie behind the ticket office is amazingly helpful
