Gas inspection for Your Housing Group (posted on behalf of my mother-in-law). We called PHJones prior to the visit and made them aware I'm medically isolated as I'm vulnerable during the pandemic. They insisted the government said gas inspections had to go ahead, we could not postpone and was assured by the woman on the phone that the engineer would take adequate precautions to protect me. The Engineer did not wash hands on entering the house, he did not wear gloves or a face mask, he did not respect the 2 meter distancing and kept getting close to my face! He insisted on access to rooms with no gas supply or gas devices. He took photos of pictures of my grandchildren, complained about cupboards that have been in place for the years I've lived here. He kept touching door handles and surfaces around the whole house where he had no need to. I'm concerned he's had no training for protecting the medically isolated or the company is deliberately trying to infect those that are at greatest risk. It's left me terrified that he could have brought covid-19 into my house when I've been so careful! If he was carrying it he tried his best to spread it to me!

Lazy, incompetent workmen they just cannot be bothered! Left me in the cold for nearly a week in September! First guy said my boiler was \condemned\ the next said it shouldn't have been condemned. Said he'd fix it but turned my boiler off leaving me in the cold. Texted next day to say they'd come to fix it between 12 and 6 pm got to half past 6 no one came. Terrible service.
