After a good walk from Pickerings pasture to Runcorn via the old Bridge we looked for somewhere to get a sandwich and takeaway drink. The Devonshire Bakery girls were lovely and so helpful. My sandwich was freshly made and the coffees were lovely. I even went back and bought a loaf the bread was so nice. Support your local shops

The food here is really nice! Great quality, flavor, and variety. One time we came in and they had free samples, I almost cried. Sweet and savory alike, they don’t disappoint. It’s a bit pricey but it’s also quality stuff!
Not a great experience today. Visited around 1320 on a Saturday afternoon and was told \We don't have much left\ even thou they don't close for another hour and half. Wasn't made to feel welcome, more of an inconvenience. Ordered a toastie and it was served minus the salad and coleslaw advertised on the menu. When I queried this when I was paying I was told, thought you just wanted a toastie and you should have said. Maybe if they had made me feel welcome I would have asked. Not sure I will visit again
Really nice place to visit. All cooked on site. Reasonably priced, food out of this world. Surroundings very nice very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful and polite. I have no problem recommending Devonshire Bakery forward to visiting it again.
Nice cosy little place for a warm drink and small bite to eat.
