Visited The Rule twice over the last two weeks. Just dropped in on the off chance of drinks with my family after a long walk. We were made very welcome. All possible infection prevention measures were in force and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Good choice of beers and delicious ciders. Thoroughly enjoyed our visits. Thank you. Recommended.

Food is OK. We try to order chicken wings and they didn't have any. The place is cool and good environment, informally. The couch sits are so comfy. I love them
No effort to keep customers safe! Many walking about without masks, young kids running around touching tables and gaming machines etc. Of course this is not all down to staff but the folk of all ages who don't care and mums who......well. Staff however made no effort to encourage safety. There are other places in St. Andrews don't go near the Rule!!
I go to the rule quite a lot for food and it's always amazing I would recommend the new pesto fries there amazing . Friendly and efficient staff never long to wait to be served
Excellent value for money. The wings were very nice offering BBQ or Piri Piri. I would have given 5 starts if there was a buffalo hot sauce option and blue cheese dip option. Unfortunately I asked and was told The Rule doesn't stock these options. Would definitely return.
