I ended up visiting two days in a row because the food was so good. All team members were smiling, David was particularly great at fitting us in as a last minute booking. The pub is also very dog friendly too. The cheese soufflé was incredible, tasted far better than it looks in my awful half-eaten photo! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
Was looking for somewhere in Ruislip to meet up with a bunch of girlfriends.The White Bear is upmarket for the area.It has a small outdoor area nicely planted up.The menu is both extensive and expensive for a pub.My friend found the pie too salty but they were accommodating to her complaint and swapped it for another dish of her choice. Our waitress was lovely The managaress could do with cracking a smile.
Lovely place in Ruislip. Great menu with very good choice and really friendly service. Try the pistachio souffle!
A good place to eat. Food is of a high standard. Steaks are full of flavour, so is the pork belly but the apple is just too sharp, the steak and ale pie was not too bad. I particularly like the pistachio soufflé. The steaks are good. Thursdays is 50% off steaks.
We've been a number of times. Fantastic service, nice garden, reasonably priced set menu during weekdays, 2 meals for 20 or 3 meals for 25 is good value too. The menu's tasty, range of nice beers, decent decor, parking and clean toilets and indoor areas with a small but pretty beer garden. Good local and for special occassions.
I had only drinks so I can't say anything about food but the place is nice and the staff is great! They have great outdoor space as well! I strongly recommended!
Overall not a bad experience. The staff were friendly and the price is decent. The staffs were attentive to our needs, and quick on responses. The pub has some outdoor tables too for the good weathers. Only down side is the food quality wasn't great. The Sunday roast and the fish cake were on the dry side, and the mussels seems a little disappointing for the price. But given that it was mother's day, I would still like to try again another day, and give them the benefit of the doubt.
