Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Upon arrival offered hand sanitizer. Shown to table. Tables definitely spaced out more. Server then takes order and invites you up to salad cart 2 at a time. You then tell them what salad/toppings you want in bowl and she then brings it back to your table. Similarly with refillable soft drinks, server will get refills for you. Fresh cutlery & condiments are brought out along with your meals. Observed tables/chairs being sanitised after folks leaving. So no qualms re Covid-19. Meals are very good as per usual and all our choices were met (they did say some items not available). All in all very nice experience post Covid-19 shielding.

Breakfast was really nice however the garlic mushroom was a bit of a shock on breakfast when asked why was told that's all they had
We went using the govt "Eat out to help out" scheme. Booked via app. Very straightforward. Table for four was ready. The staff and manager very patient. There was a one way system to move around the pub which was not strictly adhered to by some people. Odd thing was that you had to go to the bar yourself to get drinks... It would have been better to have the staff do this. Btw unlimited soft drinks were included with each meal. Food selections good and served promptly. There is an unlimited salad bar and you stand in particular spot and tell staff member what you want and they put in for you. Toilets were not very clean at all, they had not been cleaned for a long time which was apparent as smelly and dust in multiple places. Overall very good and would Recommend that you go.
This is one of my favourite pubs mainly because it has a great big garden with a bit of a view, especially for sunset, that you can enjoy in a sunny clear day. Meals are fresh and very tasty and don't leave you out of pocket either, loads of offers as well on drinks and meals. Plenty tables inside and out in the garden, bare in mind that these days you'll be better off with a booking especially for indoor! Recommend
Went for lunch today and as always love harvester. Salad was delicious as always. I tried something that I hadn't had before which was the pulled chilli beef. For the price, it wasn't worth it at all with hardly any brisket in there. I also tried the halloumi fries which I'm sure kids would love as they just taste like normal mozzarella cheese sticks. Service was very slow but they were busy on a Sunday. Will still be going back to try some different dishes. :-)
4.6 out of 5.0 rounds to 5 stars. One of the better Harvester format places with good value menu, booking recommended although they managed to find me a table for 3 without notice. Good value wide choice menu and they pour a good Guinness. Covid-19 safety is well addressed within the scope of the building. One staff member serving each individual's salad and roll when invited to approach avoids the customer to customer contact that was the norm at the salad cart

Food was very good quality and fresh. Not usual chain food fayre. The staff were all attentive, helpful and friendly. Very enjoyable lunch.
