Amazing service and great looking venue with plenty of parking and a huge beer garden. All the staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. The atmosphere is just right and the Pub is very well managed by Tony. It's a top choice for an evening out, offering good food and a great selection of thirst quenching drinks for your needy palate. Top choice! 5 stars

great local pub... Football on so many TV screens we can all see. At the same time they are able to give the best attention to a Christening celebration in an adjoining area
I used to be a bit sceptical about this place but it seems to be under new friendlier management. The decor inside is now great, the beer garden is decent and the flowers outside are always stunning throughout the summer.
Unfortunately not a good experience . Been the The Black Bull on many occasions as it’s nice a local for me .Went in last night for a drink after work with my wife and youngest daughter who is 11 . Decided to have some food whilst we were there and my wife asked the barmaid for a menu . She said no problem let me grab one for you . The younger barmaid then said we couldn't order food as our daughter had to be out of the pub by 7 , this was at 6.30 . The same young barmaid done the same thing last year to me when I was with my other daughter who was 1 month away from being 18 ! I understand there are rules but when there are younger children running around in the beer garden after 7 then it doesn’t sit well with me . I will no longer take the chance of having a drink or some food at The Black Bull as there is a good chance we won’t get served depending on what bar staff are on !
