Live locally for nearly a covid year so have never seen the inside. I do look forward to it. May get the 5 star. Or may not! The green area around is very nice and in the doomsday book.

A well preserved, maintained and repurposed important Heritage site with remnant historic fabric comprising ditches/fortifications, a much reconstructed Manor House ( functioning as a museum), barn and farming outbuildings, a pond and War Memorial. Currently the site of a weekend market, community spaces, events venues and a library. An impressive local achievement, well maintained, a feather in the cap for the local council and a commendable public amenity.

A quaint part of Ruislip. A national lottery funded free exhibit explaining life in the 15th century. An amazing farmers market on the first Sundays of the month at The Old Barn showcasing local produce and food stalls.

Steeped in history this place reminds me so much of when I was young. Walking past the blacksmith, now long gone. Beautiful old buildings, presumably once a farm, hence the barns, cow Byre and stables.

Went to visit this place as it hosts many functions, talks, plays, artisan market, farmers markets. The Great Barn is breathtaking in its magnificence.
