Love this shop, even if it doesn't always provide best value for people buying outright rather then trading up. Good, cheerful and helpful staff. And Blu-ray's so cheap I can never walk out empty handed. It could do with sorting out the Blu-ray alphabetical order, it's a mess, and separating 3D and 4K ones, it takes ages to find the few available. Great for retrogaming stuff too, though again check first as some items are cheaper new. Briliant 2-year warranty, it's what sets them apart.

Brought a PS5 at the over-inflated price, I specifically told them it needed to be in perfect condition, product, box , packaging etc. I was told it was brought in new and sealed so I was fine with that. They put it in a black bag and I took it home. When I got back, the box was a bit tatty on the corners and it was repacked badly. Also it wasn't new and sealed when it was sold to them because it firstly is covered in micro scratches and it is missing the USB C charge cable. Another in a long line of CEX f**k ups. It'll be returned when the shops open.
This shop is opened only for collection and dropp-offs. They are not bothered to update the information on Google maps, so don't be misled by that, the shop is not open for in-store shopping.
Just letting everyone know this was before Lockdown. I took my iphone 6s in to sell it was booked in for a test ,I was told the test was going to take would take half an hour however when I returned one of the workers told me they couldn't be bothered. They said it would be pointless because "Its A Terrible Phone" after this was said i was insulted. I asked them to apologies. After I said this they Laughed in my face and told me to leave the shop they said bring us something of value next time "D HEAD". It was a very unfriendly experience I don't recommend this Cex to anyone
yesterday evening went to your shop to buy a phone today we went back because phone wasnt charging and the girl an guy at the till was very rude ,they both said i was the one who broke the phone which i didnt even use the phone ,And i said is that what you do sell broken phones he was very very rude hope you do something about it thank you.

Exchanged my watched movies & played games for a voucher. In return I buyed games for my son' Xbox & PS4. I was served by Shaunie, who assisted me through the exchange.
My son bought an Alcatel tablet at the Ruislip Branch of CEX and later found that it did not load the websites that he wanted and did not turn on and off properly and also did not connect to the local wifi networks consistently. He returned to the store the next day and asked for a full cash refund he was promised when he bought the item. Charlie was at the store who dealt with us was very understanding and helpful and offered the cash refund of the price paid after doing a warranty test. I would have no problem buying from CEX and dealing with Charlie again. Thank you
