this doctors surgery is shockingly bad. trying to get an appointment is a struggle and when you ask for a phone call from the doctor your lucky if they actually call you back. they tell you to download the app for repeat prescriptions but when you request your monthly repeat prescription they refuse it without contacting you telling you the reason why it has been refused. I have been with this surgery for 40 years way before the current people that run this surgery took over it and I must say since they took over it has got worse and worse.

All consultations online, DR's that refuse to speak to you. Can you believe it took over 3 weeks to get PPI prescribed for my mum, nobody following up regardless of phone calls and messages. Been with this surgery a long time, now it feels like a commercial enterprise, more patients and take money from the CCG. Dr Thakrar please bring this surgery back to the standards it had previously, surely the lack of follow up is putting patients at risk?
I have been under the care of this practice for several years and have always felt cared for and valued every time IV seen a doctor. Dr Thakrar and Dr Patel are exceptional in their manner and knowledge and I never feel fobbed off. They think outside the box and refer me for various tests to rule out all eventualities which I appreciate. In addition I find Kavita very proactive and bright and a helpful receptionist. Overall I feel that I would be at a health loss without this surgery. Thank you Acrefield
Well, don’t know where to start. I would rather treat myself than going to this surgery. Lead female GP always uses google and NHS website to find the diagnosis. I would rather use google myself instead of wasting my time at this surgery. They started my treatment and never quite finished it, shortage of supply they say... Haha.. reception staff are legends.. I think they first need to learn some communication skills. If you call them to say, I have fever and need to be seen by doctor, they will say next appointment is after 2 weeks. Fever might be long gone by that time... :) I think government hospital in developing countries might be better than this surgery.
Rude receptionist advised me that I shouldn’t use NHS 111 (presumably because the GP doesn’t get paid as much for referrals?) and argued with me when I advised that I was simply trying to avoid congestion at A&E by seeking advice. Care, compassion and understanding at all touchpoints? I’m not seeing it.
