Always great food and the staff are awesome! 25 years and aside from changes in decor nothing else has changed. Friendly service, everything on the menu is delicious and portion size are generous. All I can ask is a location North of the River like Liberty would be fantastic.

Date night at Rudy’s! Service: it was great! We went on a Friday night. We called ahead since it was an hour long wait for 2. Our server was terrific. He was courteous, attentive, and friendly. Aesthetics and atmosphere: Overall it had a great and lively vibe to it. The layout is kind of strange with no real reception area. My wife pointed out the outdated decorations and need of a paint job, but that’s small cosmetic things. Chips and salas: By far some of the weakest chips and salsa combo in the KC metro. I think it’s important for a Mexican restaurant to have good chips and salsa. The chips were frail and the salsa tasted too much like out of a can. Marg: It was good and strong! Main course: Honestly the best rice I’ve tasted from any Mexican restaurant period!! I orderd the carne asada. The steak was bland, not marinated whatsoever. It just tasted like meat. I was disappointed in the lack of flavor. Overall the meal was okay, just really lacking in terms of flavor. Not even my jalapeño was spicy... Overall I would recommend to try this place for yourself, but really I can think of several other Mexican restaurants were your money would be better spent. I have tried this place more than once and I would be okay with never eating here again.

Jesse was wonderful. Host (did not get her name -sorry) so kind & on it.. Always delicious.. Staff popping by to keep the experience flowing. Glad I got to share Rudy's with my family. They all left regulars now. Wonderful place

There is an answer for your secret guilty pleasure for tacos! Local Hispanic food at its finest. The takeout experience is always pleasant, smooth, and clean. Very affordable prices with an incredible Happy Hour special!

What a Great Family owned restuarant in Kansas City. Food and Drinks are Fantastic here and the Staff is friendly and very helpfull. Always a Great time when I get a chance to make it in for sum tacos and margaritas!! If you haven't made it in yet you're missing out.
