It was good to get out today, whilst we are all still in lockdown, but the Rudyard takeaway shop was open and I succumbed to buying a Latte, whilst keeping my distance, doing the mask, etc. Was wet and muddy, but still a good walk. Popular with dog walkers and dogs, who were almost as muddy as their owners

Lovely Lake 8km to walk around with some beautiful views.Mostly flat walk but some rather steep and muddy also. Good for walking Dogs.Notalk areas pram or wheelchair friendly. Clean Toilets near the pay and display carpark. Shop selling Ice-cream etc. Good sailing and water sport.
Love Rudyard Lake be it sunny or raining. Always a lovely place to go. A great walk if you can manage to go all around just don't forget your comfy shoes Oh and if you have a dog there aren't too many bins so please be lovely and carry your doggies little 'presents' until you get to one. The train when it's running is a treat for little ones or for if you are too worn out to walk back. I am not sure if the little coffee shop is open right now but it too is great to have there.
One of my favourite places to visit. Lovely peaceful place, with a good cafe, which is still open for take away drinks and snacks. And very good walking along the railway track.
Great place to go paddleboarding, a cafe on site, its 20 to self launch, for 2 adults inc parking but you can stay until closing. Very reasonable and a beautiful place to be out on the water.
