It has all the right ingredients. Freshly cooked, prompt service and friendly staff. A very popular Fish & Chip shop. Highly recommended.

I have eaten at Ruddy’s fish bar many time over the three years that I have coming down here and I always find the fish fresh and the haddock is cooked to order. The cod is also good as they have such a turn over of cod all i kept hearing down to three Cod so the fryer puts more Cod on.

Chips are great, lovely fish, pies etc but the sausages taste weird, never used to so obviously different sausages/supplier. Please change them to quality sausages! Shame because it really let's the place down so I'm giving a 4 star because other than that its great

Lovely traditional fish & chip shop, all cooked to perfection. Ask for extra scrumps (known as scraps or batter up north).
