Camp ground is ok. Not much privacy. You can see through the trees to the surrounding sites. Camps are close together. The camp host is really nice but totally not helpful when asking questions about the area. Was told to go find the phone number on the board. Wasn’t there. Had to find a deposit envelope and the number was just a recording. Most of the camp sites are for pull in trailers. Our campsite was next to the bathroom. Smelled sewer the whole time we were there. We had made a reservation. The site wasn’t reserved. Probably won’t ever come again.

Very remote, but quite beautiful
Great campsite. Bathrooms were clean. Only negatives were people letting dogs roam without leashes and no where to put trash so plan on packing it out. Otherwise great sites and viewa
Great remote campground. Quiet and easy access to the wildlife preserve. Lots of space, great bathrooms, excellent fire pits.
The views were wonderful. Park was quiet and spaces were great
Great campground enjoyed our stay , just beware of scorpions as we seen quiet a few upon arrival during our walk to the restrooms and at our site. Not a huge deal just beware they are prevalent.
It's a beautiful place to be.
The campground itself is fairly nice. Upper loop is more secluded. Lower loop is right by the road, BUT the road doesn't really go anywhere so traffic is non-existent. If you're into birding and are spending a few days at the NWR, this campground is PERFECT. If, like us, you're interested in exploring the area; this compound is a LONG way from anything. Lots of antelope, deer, chipmunks, and jack rabbits. Tons of water fowl. Fort Ruby is just down the road. Any other sight of interest is at least an hour and a half drive.
