Ordered Chinese takeaway from here for the first time this weekend. The portions were larger than other Chinese takeaways which was a nice surprise. We were told half an hour for delivery on the phone but this turned out to be more like an hour, and some of the food could have had a bit more flavour (chicken chow mein) but it seemed like good quality food. Will order again from Ruby's

Just moved to the area from Manchester. Thought we'd give it a try. Absolutely delicious. Not greasy at all. Staff are really friendly. We'll be back

Ordered from here last week, I ordered the chicken chow mein, salt and pepper chicken and the ribs. The food was absolutely amazing and staff are very friendly. I love how it is a family run business using old authentic recipes. Wouldn’t look to order Chinese food elsewhere :)

Hands down the best Chinese takeaway in Chester. We've lived in Chester for 20 years and this is the best we've had. The only downside is that we only found it this year... Top tip - try the sticky beef!

I’d lived in Hoole for 17 years and not tried Ruby’s before. So I thought why not I’ll give it a try. I wasn’t disappointed, it was very nice as good as any other decent Chinese in Chester. I will be returning on the odd occasion I’m feeling in the mood for a Chinese takeaway.
