This company is under new management. My dealings with WWB are all positive and I can recommend them. Alot of the time I dealt with Michael, who reply quickly to emails with full explanations. I had two pallets of personal items shipped from the Caribbean to Netherlands, then WWB took care of it from there onto Australia by ship. During pandemic.. They made a professional effort to help me, which I appreciate. Thanks.
Corrupt practices at this company. They picked up the package, measured it, weighed it, sent me a bill and I payed them. I told them that the arrival date did not matter to me that much. Two weeks later they called me and they are demanding another 100 , due to Covid. Now this is June 30, they did not know that there was a pandemic going on? They knew they had me because the package is a heirloom and has a lot of emotional value. All they had to do was put a disclosure on the website, stating there could be a later delivery time and or a surcharge due to the pandemic, I would have had no problem paying it.
I am not even sure where to begin with my recent experience with WBS. From start to finish the entire process was unprofessional, chaotic and fraudulent. The individuals I dealt with were somewhat supportive, but the catastrophic errors are at a systemic level with the business model and their practices. Please save yourself 6 weeks of pain, misery and additional costs and find a reputable courier. Despite entering into a commercial agreement with WBS when paying for their service – for which they quoted me – they held my goods for 6 weeks, because they ‘couldn’t find a flight cheap enough’. Despite continuous requests for them to fulfil their agreement and provide the service I paid for, they refused to do so and were adamant that I pay extra. With no clear resolution or commitments to when they would ship-out I reluctantly gave in, (to save the relationship with my client) and paid nearly 300eur extra. I am amazed that they are even entitled to trade when their practices are this unethical and extortionate. I have submitted a complaint to the Dutch consumer trading standards body (ACM). Literally the worst B2B experience I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
My bag was delivered but the whole process felt like a scam. I had a nice point of contact at the company but she and her colleagues were hopeless at offering anything me anything in terms of feedback and help and I would go days and even a week without any response despite my urgency. They priced the same as everyone else in the market so go elsewhere with your business.
