Thought you might be interested in this photograph. My friends in Ohio USA have this memento from early days. Their relative was in the Canadian Army during WW1 and he played the pipes and drums, he died in 1969 and was a previous member of The Association. The family are trying to find out a little more of the history. I'n not sure of his first name, but last name is McGrail (Copy of their email below) Regards Gordon Ross Hi Gordon I have this wall hanging from my Grandfather McGrail. He did travel with a unit playing drums--and sometimes pipes. He also played in WWI--though he was a machine gunner with the Royal Canadian Army. I would love to know more history---though it's got to be really old--he died in 1969. Any ideas---I can find The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association.
