Just enjoyed a wonderful takeaway steak pie with veg. Everything was cooked perfectly and very tasty, full of flavour. Veg not overcooked. Very well packed and presented. Large portion. No room for my crumble so that will be for tomorrow . Many thanks for a lovely meal. I will certainly be back.

A 4.5 really. Fantastic service, the car park is free at the moment and the food for a pub is really high quality and a rich selection. Great after a forest walk. Clean spacious and on trend.
Friendly staff, great selection of drinks, food was incredible (even just for nibbles)! Had the chorizo in red wine and the hoisin chicken wings, will definitely be back for a proper meal.
We visited this beautiful restaurant late this afternoon. We arrived early for our reservation and the staff were so lovely and helpful, and allowed us to sit to eat upon arrival. During our meal, my son spilled his drink over the table and into his meal. The front of house staff quickly helped me clean this up without fuss and the chef very kindly replaced my son's entire meal for free! The atmosphere was so lovely and peaceful, the food was absolutely gorgeous, and nothing was too much trouble! Thank you so much to you all for everything! Will definitely be returning :)
Called in at The Royal Oak pub for a drink, such a lovely atmosphere, everyone so friendly, decided to have a meal there. We were shown to the last table available which said it all. Obviously a popular place & the food was absolutely amazing....will definitely be back when in the area again!!
