The pub has a friendly atmosphere, decor was a little tired, it was a short walk to the river. Could do with better signage from the main road. I would go again.

The pub is really old and could do with a upgrade and redecorated but you can't get a better Sunday roast than here everything is cooked fresh and you get 4 veg besides the roasties and mash these are all in serving dishes and there is ample

We were all disappointed. Service behind bar was very slow with staff looking at us and others and then walking on. Steak of mixed grill was just grizzle and unedible but chef refused to change it without making a whole new meal, which we didn't see the point of as half of plate had already been eaten. Was offered free pudding after we requested it. Chose hot chocolate fudge cake. It was cold and stale. We wont be returning
