Great food with great service ..... we've been twice in 3 days! Lush. The scotch eggs are to die for and the blade steak is very cleverly cooked with a tasty home made slaw (no mayo ... just perfect!) .... So try it! x

Lovely pub and restaurant with really attentive and friendly staff. The food (I had Sunday roast) was faultless. It's possibly one of the best I've ever had. Perfect. The pub itself is great with really nice outdoor area.
I ordered their burger, when I booked a table about a week ago, and it was absolutely stunning. One of the best burgers I have ever tasted. The blend of the burger was perfect and very unique. Most of the ordering was done through the app, you scan a QR code on the wall with your camera and it pops up through your internet browser. You can order your food and drinks through this. Super easy to do and saves the hassle of queueing up for drinks. If you are ever near the Royal Oak on a visit, you must visit this place during your visit. Amazing.
We booked lunch here at short notice on a weekend after our trip to Cotswold Country Park was rained off. We were given a private room upstairs which was perfect for two families and really made our trip worthwhile. Service and food were excellent and we have now found a great alternative for meeting our friends while still adhering to social distancing, even if we aren't lucky enough to get the same table.
Arranged a meal for 16 and we took the private room upstairs which worked out well. Food very good, everyone enjoyed it. Staff helpful throughout booking.
