Having walked passed this pub for many years without ever thinking of venturing in, today was our first visit. All the staff were extremely lovely, friendly and helpful. Covid safety procedures were exceptional. Staff insured that everyone entering the premises followed all procedures. Tables were cleaned in between customers, cutlery was wrapped, masks were worn by all, one way system in the restaurant, table service (toilets by the way were very clean) Now, let's talk about the yummy food. We both really enjoyed our Sunday lamb roasts. Meat was cooked perfectly, generous portions, along with the delicious roast potatoes and well seasoned vegetables...with a yummy Yorkshire pud to top it all! A big thumbs up to the chef well done! We are both looking forward to our next visit to Whitstable, we'll certainly be visiting this little pub again, rather than walking by. Thanks everyone for creating such a relaxing and safe visit for us during these difficult times, it was certainly appreciate...

Extremely friendly staff, a handy porch area for outdoor eating, delicious battered fish. Only downside was onion rings. More like small portion of crispy batter rings and didn't feel worth the money. But the fish and the pint was excellent taste and value and I'd definitely visit again.
Whoever works in that kitchen takes pride in their work! Quality food and lovely friendly staff. If I take a break in Whitstable again definitely getting some grub here. Sunday roast was Banging!! Very satisfied customer! :)
Cozy place to eat. Lovely Ribeye steak although unfortunately steak sauces were not on offer which would have been nice. However the staff were very friendly and service was quick. Chips were exceptional.
Called in for a drink. This place has a great atmosphere with very attentive staff. In the end we stayed for supper which was delicious and very good portions. Will definitely return.
