wasn't really trashed out like a lot of other rest areas i've stopped off at
Really a "Picnic Area." Good place to bring food from town for a picnic, for wreckers & other "on-call-vehicles" to wait for a call, truckers to rest when sleepy, & great place to BBQ out. BBQ pits & waste receptacles at each of the 4 covered tables. The entire rest area is wheelchair accessible. Ample shade trees scattered throughout the picnic area. The drive is well paved & the park is well kept. As usual w/ picnic areas, there are NO restroom facilities.
New Rest Area located between Cumby and Sulphur Springs, Texas located in I-30.
Great place to stop at when you need a break from driving.
