Very nice grounds and cute Inn. We were assigned a room that had an issue with the shower, the front desk knew about it and when we brought it up to them they said "oh yeah we knew about that and sorry"! We never got compensated for our troubles. They could have been more helpful!

The most quaint, relaxing place. I loved everything!Rooms were immaculate and desk personnel were welcoming. The restaurant is quite cozy. I can't wait to stay here again.
We enjoyed everything about our stay here. The bed was comfortable. The soaking tub was luxurious. The food at the Grove Restaurant was tasty for breakfast and dinner. Excited to return in the future.
My wife and I had a last minute venue change, and ended up with Briar Barn/Grove as a bit of a surprise venue for our pandemic micro-wedding. We didn’t even see the venue in person until about a week before our wedding. We were certainly nervous, but honestly could not have been more happy with how it turned out. The place really transformed for the ceremony, and the seating and arbor were beautiful under the bistro lights. The cocktail hour was super cozy with the fireplace, windows and high ceilings, and the hor d’oeurves and raw bar were amazing. We had a jazz trio that really set the mood and made it feel intimate and relaxing. The main room was changed over for the reception and was set up perfectly for our small wedding. Dinner and drinks were phenomenal, I probably had the best steak of my life and their bar selection was awesome with a lot of fun local beer. Staff, servers, and bartender were all amazing, and there was a perfect nook for the DJ to set up. Bramble really made wedding planning super easy, and our planner Kelsey was a rock star on the day of, making sure everything went seamlessly, and we appreciated how she went out of her way to make sure we got food and drinks. We honestly didn’t know what to expect, but we were really blown away and would highly recommend Briar Barn/Grove to anyone!
Everything was as advertised. Clean, nice place. The restaurant was very good. Nice amenities. Kind and accommodating staff. There's not anything I can say negative about this place.
The cutest quaint little New England inn! Beds comfy, staff nice, the complementary breakfast was amazing. Especially the English muffins!
The food here has been outstanding every time we've come. The service is very friendly and they actually remember you. Highly recommended.
My husband and I have stayed here twice. On the first occasion everything was lovely. I was thrilled to return earlier this month, especially after an exhausting fall teaching remotely (my husband booked a night away as a very thoughtful Christmas gift the Lat Saturday of winter break.) We were extremely disappointed to arrive and be issued a room that was not what he had booked (the issue was not simply the size of the the room- but - also the noise level from all sides resulting in an experience far less Relaxing then anticipated.) Mistakes happen, and I would never hold that alone against a small business, however When my husband spoke with the person at the desk the next morning, they less-than -apologetically explained that they had overbooked and that the manager had downgraded our room in order to fix their mistake. Just like that. No phone call to explain that they had overbooked and the room would we had paid for would not be available. No offer to forgo the reservation and return another time. No acknowledgement at check in - or Automatic price adjustment for the downgraded room. Had my husband not said something they would have charged us for the better room Without batting an eyelash. The person at the desk told my husband that she would (and did) correct the room pricing so that we were charged for the room that we actually stayed in- but,so, not the point! It did nothing to repair the how we had been treated, that what should have been a lovely gift was instead a terrible disappointment, and, that the management was perfectly ok charging us for something that we did not receive without even acknowledging it. My husband did reach out via email after our stay to express his disappointment and, unsurprisingly, he did not receive a reply.
