Perfect work for a toddler/pre-schooler looking at the wooden sculptures around the trail. Think it is around 1.2km. Only problem is the parking as the car park is small and can be busy especially at weekends. There are a few places to park on the main road further down but it is a busy road so wouldn't recommend with children in tow.

Lovely friendly place, with lots of information about the woods a countryside park. Cafe currently doing takeaway with a 2.95 deal of hot bacon and sausage roll with any drink! Free parking, but can get very busy at weekends.
Beautiful walk along the Derwent sculpture trail. Cafe superb. Only downside is car park is very small so you need to get there early for a space.
Lovely walks well signposted, great to see the cafe still open offering takeout during covid just what was needed after a freezing wet walk everything was fresh and the cake was beautiful
Lovely walks, well marked and you can choose the best length for you. Limited parking but lovely cafe with friendly staff with toilet facilities and info. A regular favourite of ours!
