We are Americans living in Europe and took a “local” holiday during this COVID crisis to Belgium from Holland. While staying in Horebeke, we wanted to eat out our last night in the area. We saw this was one of the few places open on a Monday, for dine in, and “good for kids”. So, we went and we were pleasantly surprised by the charm of this American style diner in the middle of Belgium! The atmosphere and service was perfect! It is super hot and they are not allowed to run the AC due to COVID law. It’s unfortunate because we would have stayed longer. The owner was friendly, gave our daughter a free slushy. Free refills on all drinks, even booze! Burgers are frozen and milkshake was a bit thin for our taste but it was still a delight!
Amazing! Large hamburger, with tasty buns and great options for toppings (delicious sauces, bacon, cheese, eggs: my personal favourite is the route 46 hamburger), huge plate of perfect crunchy fries, a fresh salad and free refills (even for jupiler) for only 9.95. This beats it all!!

Burgers and spare ribs, US style restaurant in the middle of Belgium. Spare ribs are great size and delicious. Free refills even for beers. Long opening hours. Definitely a great value. The only improvement I can think of is to install better ventilation in the kitchen to avoid smell in the eating area.
