Wonderful! Unexpected and delightful. Generally have a very difficult time finding a nice place to eat when at Round Top for the show (for many miles around). This is IT!

We were there for the antique fair and expected it to be busy but we got right in for dinner. The place is lovely and was crowded but not uncomfortably so. Appetizers were great as was the food. Really liked the Carbonara. Got to meet the owner Armando. Very nice guy. Can't wait to go back.
Glad we dined here to enjoy the unique, old world feel of this rustic yet lively space. Comfy little bar too. Reservations advised. Their food is fresh and their menu compact so they might run out of some items on busy weekends...which is understandable. The lamb chops were super and the lobster ravioli tasty as well...and the octopus also. Yes the service is a bit slow at peak times but they are friendly and attentive. The main room w all the wood and stone can get a bit loud but that’s fine by me. I would give 4.5 stars if possible, but not a 5 as two of our dishes were not hot, and I found it odd that the Caesar had the lemon on the side instead of in the dressing already. But hey, these are just little things...as the meal was delicious. Will definitely try them again.
Great environment and atmosphere. Food delicious, service very friendly and professional.
Great Italian atmosphere, great wine list (let us sample three brands before selecting), and food was excellent for a town whose population is 90. Worth the hour and ten minute drive from Austin. Not to forget the service was outstanding. PS: understand they have 280 wines available.
