Donan Engineering was hired by my insurance company, Nationwide, to perform a structural engineer analysis on our home due to a challenging leak issue. I was unimpressed by the engineer that was sent to our house to perform the review. Stephen Gordon was polite but on-time but I did not have confidence in his ability to properly assess our home. He was not capable of using a screwdriver to open up a vent to obtain further pictures and someone had to perform the act for him. He also was uncomfortable with getting up on the roof even though he had a ladder assist. Stephen was inexperienced and also shared that he was not a home owner. He might have studied well and passed the exams needed, however, I did not appreciate the level of skill set that was sent to perform this analysis that ultimately helped determine the type of insurance payout on the claim. I called customer service and provided feedback and Donan does not even have the common courtesy to return the phone call and discuss. I would avoid using this company and can not recommend them.

Bad faith business practices. Mike Williamson, the engineer who inspected my roof told, me in person that he noted a lot of hail damage. Then said there was no damage in his report. That sort of false representation should lead to the revocation of his license.
