Tuesdays and Saturdays a great place to do shopping. Especially fresh fish, fruit and vegetables and cheese are offered by a wide variety of stand's even now during corona time's .

Much cheaper than the grocery stores with lots of options for basic fresh vegetables, fish, chicken, and flowers. During normal, non-Covid times, there are also a lot of second-hamd supply booths.

Favorite place to do my grocery.fresh fruits and vegetables. Delicious deep fried fish food stall. They open every Tuesday and Saturday but I notice Saturday Market is much more complete rather than Tuesday. Watch out for seagull that like to snatch your snack or food. They are quite aggressive esp on summer days.

This is Rotterdam’s biggest public street market. It happens every Tuesday and Saturday, full day. The place to go for a real taste of Rotterdam with all its diversity. Bargain prices for fresh products like cheese, fish, fruits, vegetables, spices and flowers. But also many other products and bric & brac to be found. Recommended to eat a portion of ‘kibbeling’ (fried fish fillet chunks) at one of the fish stalls. Also the place to buy your Dutch cheese: the more mature the cheese is, the more flavourful, ranging from ‘jong’ (young), ‘belegen’, ‘extra belegen’, to ‘oud’ (old). I prefer the extra belegen or oud for their full creamy and salty flavour.
