The place was pretty loud and expensive, but the food was really good. The meat is high quality and next to the meat there are a lot of side dish choices. The servers are really friendly and helpful. Lastly, the place looks nice and the booths give you a sense of privacy.

Very nice staff and very helpful! Probably since we were the first ones to arrive today, but the attention was nice and friendly. The meat was very good. With some pointers how to cook the meat, it was easy and delicious. I liked the labels with information what part of the beef you were eating and it's origin country. Not everything was from Japan, but the quality was great! The only thing I didn't like was the shrimp side, but that was no problem. You came at a meat restaurant to eat meat!
It's a good AYCE-restaurant to eat at, they serve different Japanese dishes: e.g. sushi, meat and fish dishes, a couple vegetarian dishes and BBQ (the BBQ is included for an extra fee of 4,-) what's outstanding is not the sushi, but the other dishes Oniku has to offer. Most of the meat has been prepared very well and ultimately this is what sets Oniku apart from the other AYCE-restaurants. Another thing that was noteworthy is the splendid customer service/care the people show towards you. This all together made our day while eating there.
Good yakiniku restaurant, where you leave without smelling. The food was good, but I don't understand the point of using tablets for their menus if you can't even order with it and still have to wait for a waiter to take your order. It was also unclear how to order the side dishes as the headings on the menu was a bit misleading. Service was good, but slow. The tables are quite small for 4 persons ordering meat platters and 2 sides each. Not recommended for groups larger than 4 persons as there are no tables for large groups.
Great place to eat in Rotterdam Zuid. Got a nice, varied selection of menu items, a nice atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. All ingredients for the sushi and the meat are of noticable high quality, even the salmon! The only point of negative feedback I can think of is that the menu is quite safe, it doesn't offer any special options for meat (small selection of beef cuts) or sushi (no hotate, no ikura). Overall I would rate this restaurant above other all you can eats and Japanese/Korean BBQ's in Rotterdam. Recommended for small groups!
It's a nice, comfortable restaurant with a nice selection of Asian dishes. The selection is smaller than last time I was here, unfortunately. But still it's one of the better Asian barbecue restaurants I know of.
This is an amazing place to go to. Especially when you want to have a relaxed meal with friends. The staff is friendly, the food is superb and the atmosphere is pleasant. I can recommend any of the 'Wagyu' containing platters as the beef is just gorgeous and marbled to perfection. We will definitely come here again. One of my new favourites.
All the food was really delicious. A bit expensive, but nice for special occasions.
