Wie tussen de marktkramen door loopt en omhoog kijkt, ziet het kunstwerk ‘Horn of plenty’ (Hoorn des overvloeds) van Arno Coenen en Iris Roskam. Markthal is de eerste overdekte marktvloer van Nederland. Een plek waar goed eten en uniek wonen in een spectaculaire boog samenkomen. Na vijf jaar van bouwen, opende op 1 oktober 2014 het iconische gebouw zijn deuren.

It is a very modern and well located food based shopping mall. I really liked to be there. However, several places were closed due to the corona virus. I am sure it will be richer after the corona

Nice place with unique design and lots of shops. Better in cold and rain nice big market to roam inside have a quick bite. Lots of places to eat

Excellent idea of having all world fast food cuisines, quick bites, grocery, under 1 roof. Great building design, colourful. Good to go with family and friends.

One of must-see sightseeing in Rotterdam. It is a market with different kinds of foods, very beautifully designed. The architecture itself is absolutely amazing! There are many small places with different cuisines and supermarkets inside. I recommend to try traditional Dutch stroopwaffels here

Hydro Eden Ltd

Good variety of shops and places to visit indoors. Wanted to get out the rain and maybe look at cheeses as souvenirs. In the end, didn't buy any cheese. They have some social distancing measures in olace Very good for when you need to go to use the facilities (toilet)
