We really had a wonderful evening at Joelia. All dishes were remarkably delicious. The wine list were amazing. The service is excellent, very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was really nice and luxurious. When we arrived, the homemade crunch mixture was on the table and that was so good!! The Amuse bouches were really creative and delicious. After a wonderful 5 course menu, we were treated with a delicious complimentary dessert. And that ended the perfect evening. We really enjoyed the night and will definitely come back!!

The restaurant is certainly a must visit in Rotterdam. The staff is extremely courteous and will satisfy every wish. The food is phenomenally good. The watermelon in particular is an exciting composition of appearance, texture and taste. If desired, the sommelier will serve excellent wines to accompany each course. The prices are absolutely reasonable. I will definitely come back here for dinner on every visit to Rotterdam.

Anjou pigeon is cooked to perfect, extremely tender and juicy. The scallop with summer truffle and Parmesan cheese is outstanding as well, the sweetness of scallop and fragrance of truffle are perfectly balanced. Best 1* restaurant in Rotterdam IMO

High end restaurant in a hotel. Relatively small and on a Wednesday largely empty. Ambience Good and quiet. Service. Attentive and not patronizing. Recognized I was vegetarian and took extra care Food. Appetizers were excellent. The beet root is to die for. The entree was reasonable - the amount of truffle they dispensed was over the top. At some point overwhelming. The best part of the meal : the mashed potatoes and the bread. Desserts (macaroons) were beyond outstanding. Just the right amount of sugar and melted in the mouth.

Great experience due to the very friendly service and exquisite quality of the various dishes. The chef surprised us with various small spot-on dishes with great wine pairings. On top of that we got a private tour of the restaurant's wine cellar. All in all, a grandiose experience!
