As a slap of nature, the park hit me. Approaching I could not believe it was a park at first, looking loke a bunch of dead nature piled up on itself. Getting closer and entering the park, the beautiful smell of nature is the first thing that struck me. It felt like I left the city way back forgotten. The gorgeous colors, even in the winter it felt like I can be with it and grow. Unpaved paths and muddy terrain make the experience even more playful(don't bring clean clothes for this one.) Cute and tiny insects and birds live in the park seemingly working together for the benefit of all. This park can be a great and intimate place to bring loved ones and connect with what is forgotten in big cities. The park consists of many small ecosystems, there's a few places that look like beaches, there's a tiny mountain path, there is a jungle walk that extends throughout the whole place. There's a bunch of tiny islands that are connected by bridges, we all loved to explore and experience. I'd suggest, it's a 5/5 for me, this park is a necessary thing for the people who care about genuine nature.

Heerlijk rustig park, groter dan je denkt en ook zeker rustiger zelfs al ligt het vlak aan het spoor
Heerlijk Park, lekker blubberig in de wintermaar toch leuk voor de kids om even uit te leven. Altijd leuk om een rondje te wandelen.
Leuke wandelpark langs het spoor en singel, n keer helemaal bewandelt. Zeker n kijkje waard.!
Het essenburgpark hoort bij de groene connectie Rotterdam. Het is een klein stukje van de verbindende route van 8 km wat door Rotterdam heen loopt. Het is een van de betere initiatieven van Rotterdam een mooi stukje natuur in de grote stenen stad. Voor de gehele route kan je naar degroeneconnectie.nl . De meeste mensen uit de stad Rotterdam hebben hier geen weet van wat eigenlijk wel jammer is.
