Look pretty but the taste is just cheap. Worse than supermarket bought cakes. What a waste of money! This mini red velvet cake tastes nothing but sugar paste and butter cream.

They were nice when the markthal just opened in 2014, but quality of the baking and the service went down a lot since then. Our favorite cake ‘Lady russe’ doesn’t taste nearly as good anymore and today the salesperson actually refused to wear gloves when grabbing macarons, which is a first. And unfortunately you can’t wash macarons. Not coming back.
We stopped by last Monday and bought two kind of coupe. They were amazing! Love the texture of each layer, great combination of flavors. Piece of art!
One of the finest patisserie of Rotterdam. I have bought the chocolate cake and it was simply delicious. Prices are quite high (around 20 euro for a cake), but you won't be disappointed.
I got few macarons to take away (1,65eur per piece) and I totally recommend vanilla and earl Grey!

Macarons zijn heerlijk maar heel vaak geen personeel aanwezig. Ben net vanuit vlaardingen gekomen om macarons te halen, heb 20 min moeten wachten maar niemand was er. Haal hier bijna weekelijks macarons maar vindt het jammer dat ik zoveel tijd en energie stop en uiteindelijk er niets voor krijg.
