Few days ago (24.05) we visited this bar for a food&drink gathering for 5 people. The drinks and the food was up to a high standard but I am actually coming here to grieve over the 'service' that night! The guy helping us was somewhere right about between 'arrogant' and 'complete douche'. He was neither funny nor engaging or entertaining. He didn't seem to be having a bad day either so to us it was mostly cringe-worthy and a bit embarrassing. That guy was the face of your restaurant that day and that face was ugly!
This used to be my favorite cocktail place in Rotterdam, somehow it lost some of its charm over de years. Cocktail selection is still quite big & the Moroccan bread with butter&Aioli is good as always. You won't be disappointed here, cocktails are still the best in town!
It's a great place to hang out very relaxed atmosphere, the staff is great and I've heard positive things about their food too. Unfortunately for a cocktail bar the cocktails are not the best I had the mojito and I could only taste the rum no taste of mint or sugar just rum and lime. Pinacolada was also not up to standards. . The cocktail virgin pornstar it is a pure sugar bomb... the ladies opposite us also sent back a cocktail which they said didn't taste good at all. Cocktails are not good and pretty overpriced. It is a nice hangout place though also for people aged 30plus, great decor, good music, friendly staff. ...
Been there many times to drink a cocktail. Lately the quality has dropped a bit - ordered a Moscow mule but it was too spicy.
