Good festival but could be better. We camped in The Hive My Space which was a 15 minute walk into the festival which was fine. The place is incredibly clean compared to the likes of Reading, Beni or T. The music was good and well varied across the stages. Festival was very well organised and getting to/from and checking in was completely painless. The prices and food need a big change as the food was average at best and the cost was the most we've ever spent at a festival. Will certainly rethink our plans if we return in the future.

The worst festival I've ever been to. There is literally nothing on apart from the acts - not even a place to chill. They take any opportunity to squeeze an extra few euro from you, to the extent of confiscating the top of my empty water bottle to try and force me to buy another,; so much for 'committed to recycling'. Lineup is pretty scattershot and crowd seemd largely uninterested in the music. Camping is a full half hours walk from the arena. The acts themselves put on a brave show but can't thank the festival for that. I wouldn't come here again if God himself decided to play a set next year

Rock Werchter is een prachtig festival waar uiteenlopende muziekstijlen samenkomen. De aankleding van de diverse podia maakt het ook een feest voor de ogen. Persoonlijk valt mij op dat wachtrijen voor eten en drinken in verhouding tot andere festivals erg meevalt. Ook in de catering is er een gevarieerd aanbod. Uiteraard ben je enigszins afhankelijk van de line-up om het helemaal naar je smaak te hebben. Gemiddeld genomen is de programmering echter fantastisch en is het vervelendste de keuze maken welke acts je wil zien en welke je daarvoor zal moeten overslaan!
Leuk wandelen / fietsen daar. Vergeet vooral je eigen rommel niet mee naar huis te nemen. Wil je genieten op een bankje.... vergeet het maar, die zijn er niet. Eigen stoel meebrengen. Tot de volgende keer.
Fantastische dag beleefd op de 5 sterren luxe festival. Dit was 30 jaar geleden wel effen anders. Alles was dik ok: drank, eten, optredens, drank prijzen en ...toiletten.

Ik kom hier nu al elk jaar sinds mijn 14. De lineup is sommige jaren wat teleurstellend voor mij, maar de sfeer compenseert dat elke keer.
