Good selection of groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen foods and wines and spirits. Huge choice in all departments, too much choice in some because it takes a long time to get the shopping done. Not the lowest prices but one-stop shopping.

Large, expensive and poorly organised checkout. Long queues, beware of checkouts dedicated for credit card or cash only... you cant change once the shopping unloaded. Not a good shopping experience
Our favorite place to shop in France. When we first found it a couple of decades ago, the sheer size of it blew our minds. Shop assistants using rollerblades to cover the vast distances around the aisles. You can buy almost anything here.
Very large supermarket that has a motorhome parking area. Everything you need can be got here from hardware to electronics to food. There are very nice and reasonably priced pizza takeaway inside. There is also a petrol station attached.
A comprehensive hypermarket with a wide range of produce and some good bulk buy bargains.
The Cora supermarket at Rots is huge and has a vast choice of food, drink and fresh produce. Second only to the American Walmart supermarkets, it is the biggest and most well stocked one stop shopping establishment that I have ever visited.
Wow, this has to be the biggest store in France with great selection and a cafeteria with equally great selections. Pet friendly too
Always like Cora Hypermarkets. Cora in Caen is one of their older shops hypermarkets but it maintains the usual vast choice and plenty of space.
