Loved everything about this place! Our meal was outstanding, our waiter hailed from Texas, which made for great conversation, and the atmosphere was simply charming. When my daughter requested a non-alcoholic Shirley Temple and the restaurant was out of grenadine, our waiter proceeded to craft her another special beverage that she loved! The Michelin recommendation rating was certainly spot on here!

A little pricy, but if you enjoy very fresh gourmet food with a great atmosphere and excellent service, the price is well worth it.
As usual the Ambience and high standard of service was second to non. The variation of the menu was very good as was the high quality of the food. Always a good venue to visit when in Ballater.
Had a fantastic meal here prior to lockdown. The food was exceptional, food was beautifully presented and nice atmosphere for a special occasion. Highly recommend.
A beautiful place with old style charm and real attention to detail. The quality of food was first class and the service very friendly and attentive. A wonderful experience in this lovely Royal Deeside town.
