I purchased a fly rod and fly reel for my sons birthday a week prior to his birthday to make sure I got it on time as I had promised to take him out fishing before I went back to work for the next couple of months after contacting the company a couple of days before his birthday to find out where the order was only to be told they hadn’t received payment which was taken from my account immediately when I made the order. I explained the situation of my sons birthday and the promise I made to my son but they were not interested in helping me which resulted in me breaking my promise to my son and not receiving this birthday gift that he really wanted. Now 17 days after the order was made I am still no further on with this order and the company just keeps saying there doing everything they can. Avoid this company at all cost they don’t care about there customers and are totally unprofessional.

Called in on Saturday looking for a new rod and top up my fly box only to find that the fly fishing section had been cut down to less than a quarter of what it used to be. The selection of flies used to be the best in the area but now only 2 very small cabinets remain. When the staff were questioned they were very apologetic and said that I could look on line ( not really any help to to me as I was going fishing that evening).

One gold star to good for this company. So a huge minus 5 stars Thats twice my order has been canceled. Even if the flies are 20p,for 3 wont be back. Ordered gear with Sportfish no problems at all. Excellent service. Need new management to run this unprofessional company.

Terrible company and also trade under other names such as Fishing Republic. Orders sit at processing for days and then get cancelled without any apology or explanation. Might be free delivery over 9 but useless promotion if you can't honour the orders in the 1st place. Save yourself the hassle and order elsewhere like I will be doing from now on.
