An average Aldi store , quite clean, and plenty of stock , I called in during lockdown to do a shop and everything was well stocked, although I was one of the first through the doors on the day. Get to the offers bins they have some great bargains .

I am a daily customer and on several occasions I’ve witnessed the dark African security guy always angry and harassing some customers like they’re just getting free stuff. Recently I went to the store to pick a few things but on reaching the store I noticed that I had forgotten my mask however I had my scarf so I thought I could use it to cover my face instead, when he saw me without a mask he scolded me in the presence of other customers and sent me out of the store, I told him that I’ve got a scarf with me and I could use it, but he insisted that I should walk out and came after me as he continued to harass me shouting on top of his voice. I felt so belittled and disrespected as I walked out. My friend complained about this same guy trailing her whenever she went to the store for shopping and said that she always felt so uncomfortable. It is such a shame that some customers will opt to go shopping somewhere else.
